Modern Technology Has Increased Our Material Wealth,But Not Our Happines
People across the word have different opinions about wheather modern technology has a possitive or a negtive effect on society.It seems that the benefits of it exeeds its drawbacks,but some people hold another view.From my apart,we should take consideration to this issue.
With the rapid development of technology, it is certainly true that our material wealth has increased. In the past,people had to do so many things by themselves,such us cooking,washing and knitting. Instead,nowadays,people can enjoy their electrical appliances .With the TV,computer and car, people experience that life is becoming more comfortable and convinient.
However,this is not a complete image of technology.First of all,it can cause some unexpected problems. If there is a mistake in the computer system of a plane which would probably cause the plane to dysfunction,it would lead to an aircrash.It also causes some fanancial problems,because most of the technology are too expensive for people to afford.Besides,it brings stress to individuals.In modern society,change happens everyday and stress related to work is very common,so the mojority of people feel overburdened.Some of them even result in ill health.Morover,people are becomeing lazier and lazier.They prefer to communicate by calling or sending messages rather than face to face talking or use lift instesd of walking up stairs.
In short,though modern technology plays an important role in our material lives,I strongly agree that it creats so many problems which we should try our best to overcome.
