Mom
The person that has made me who I am today is someone that I care very much about. She has always been there for me and taught me what I need to know to be successful in life. I would not want to be without her and I don't know what would happen if I had to go through the rest of my life without her. She is the person that I look up to the most and the person I want to be exactly alike when I get older. Anytime I want advice about something or just want to talk I go to her, or when I was in jail and needed someone to come get me out at three o'clock in the morning she was there. This person is my Mom, the person that I idealize the most in the world. My Mom has taught me a lot in my life, but I think there are a few morale's that she has taught me that I have used the most in my life. She believes that family comes first, respect others, and value life, don't take anything for granted and those are the morale's that I go by in everyday life.
When I was a younger, it seemed whenever my family would have something going on, one of my friends would ask me to do something, I don't know why, but it seemed like it would always happen like this. After one of my friends asked if I would do something with them, I would go ask my mom and she would always tell me that family comes first and that I had already knew about this. It didn't matter if we were going to eat with my whole family or if we were just going to go watch my cousin play soccer, she would never let me go because it was a commitment I had made to the family. Every time she said those exact words, know matter how much of a fight I would put up, and as I have gotten older I would not even have to ask my Mom because I knew what she would say and I started to realize that family does come before everything else. My Mom has taught me that some of my friends might not be there my whole life, but my family will, I could always meet new friends, but I could never have a new family.
