Mommy
My mom has had the greatest impact on my life. My mom has always been there for me through ups and downs, wrongs and rights. She's my best friend. Being a child of divorced parents isn't so bad when you have a mommy as dedicated as mine. My mom went out of her way to keep me and my brother happy whether she was happy or sad. In a period of two years, my mom went through a lot. In 1992 she lost her father whom she was really close with to illness, the following year she divorced my father and got herself out of a manipulative situation. While going through these troubling trials she still managed to keep my brother and me happy and satisfied. While working twelve hour days and coming home and having to cook, clean, and help with homework, she kept her head up and stayed strong. Even though my father didn't live with us anymore and I really didn't want to talk to him for hurting my mom she told the bible says to honor your father and mother so you can live longer. I feel that took courage, because she could've kept me from him but she gave him his rights as a father. She didn't even ask for child support, she did it all on her own. Every family goes through highs and lows and there are probably families who went through more than we have, but I admire my mom because she could've given up on her kids and herself but she kept striving to make life good for us. She's what you call a
SUPER-MOM. God couldn't have given me a better angel mommy. She keeps me in line and keeps me going. I don't know what I'd do without her. She's the light of my life. This is why my mommy has had the greatest impact on my life.
