MOE & Company: Owner drivers
Introduction
MOE & company deliver a unique service in that they supply businesses with feasibility studies about BEE orientated owner drivers but this isn’t where it stops. They serve as a intermediary between BEE clients and financial institutions. In other words they arrange the finance needed for BEE clients to start their own businesses. In addition to the financial side they provide support structures in the form of business management. These support structures are divided into three categories namely: accounting, business management and transport management. Working hand in hand with these structures are the nine training modules MOE and Co. have in place for the drivers. By improving these categories they will insure that owner drivers will have the necessary capabilities, resources and general know how to run and maintain a successful business.

According to Mullins (2003:7) the industry consists of sellers. These are the businesses that sell or deliver a service or product to consumers. This is where MOE & Co. fit into the mix. MOE & Co. provide a service to other corporate entities by managing an aspect of their operations and in this case the out sourcing of there transport fleet. In addition to this MOE & Co. also provides a service to BEE clients supplying owner drivers with business management and skills development.
