My Earliest Memory
My earliest memories extend to when they came the hairless ones. The noise was deafening, shrill squeaks of excitement as I am rubbed and transferred among them. Who were they? Why were they here, I was happy, at least I think I was.
There it was, their transporter. On for stout round legs it stood gleaming from the ball of light. Burrowing in to one of the hairless ones, I tried to plead to stay where I was, alas combined by the harsh wind blowing, It was pleasing to seek sanctuary inside it.
It began to move. A strange sensation overcame me, everything around me was rapidly moving as I sat motionless, restrained by one of them. The transporter began to speak, as the two beings communicated. Something was happening. It was them. Their soft whispers and gentle stroking lulled me to sleep. It was soft where I slept, occasionally waking by the sound of their voices, if only I knew what they were saying. I will learn.
My surroundings no longer swiftly passed me; I was home, well their home. The ominous cream building stood mighty compared to my origins. Upon entering I was greeted by two more of the species showing joy on my arrival.
I sensed my stay here was indefinite, warm and soft blankets lay on the floor amongst the many toys that I would later play with. A welcoming smell entered the room as a huge bowl was placed on the ground. Pains suddenly shot through my stomach and a sense of weakness struck me, I hadn't eaten since the morning of abduction.
Aware of where I was, I approached the bowl with caution, as unknowingly poison could be my dinner. Luckily, it wasn't. Happily I was left to feed on the bowl of treasure they left me, I suppose time spent here wouldn't be too bad.
