My First Serious Argument With My Father

My father lost his temper; he grabbed my grandmother by her neck and started to drag her to the exit door. Then he screamed at her, "I will not let you to live in this house and interfere in my business." I never raised my hand to my father until he started acting like a furious monster who wanted to wipe off everything in his way. He halted when I grabbed his hands and yelled, "Father stop, what are you doing!" I almost wanted to hit him with the wooden stick which was near the door but I did not dare to. My mother, little five-year old cousin and grandfather were shocked by my father's unforgivable act. It was the first time I got in fight with my father and saw him so angry that he dared to drag my sixty-year old grandmother across the floor.
I lived with my grandparents in Uzbekistan since I was born. My parents lived in another country; they had a busy life over in Turkmenistan. My mother was working on her Master's degree in medical school, and my father had finished the law school and immediately entered the workplace. Since I was a young boy, my grandmother showed me how to work hard and make a living. Every morning we got up at 5 a.m. in the morning to feed the cows and the chickens. In the afternoons we worked in the field. We made a living by selling eggs and fresh milk. She also taught me to respect my parents and never argue with them even if they were wrong.
When I turned ten and finished my seventh grade in high school, my parents suddenly wanted me to move to Turkmenistan and live with them. I did not want to leave my grandparents, but my grandmother said that it would be better for me to live with my parents.
I began to live with my parents, and they showed their love to me. I did not have to work in the field and take care of the animals anymore. My parents and I went to the park and ate ice-cream every evening. My mother told me," Tahyr, we love you very much and will always take care of you."
