Greek mythology can really be great. Everyday, we incorporate Greek mythology into our lives. Whether it is the super god Zeus throwing down a couple of thunder bolts, or another god Apollo making the warm sun shine down on earth, mythology is all around us. Many decades ago, Greek mythology was the only way for people to explain the unexplainable. The Greeks and Romans had gods for everything from war to arts and crafts. They had goddesses from love to envy. The Greeks where very intelligent to think of such mind boggling stories that actually made sense. Ancient Greek mythology is still very much a part of many cultures even today. Most people do not realize how interesting Greek mythology can really be!
This paper will unfold mysteries of the creation of mythology, the Titans, many gods and goddesses, heros, and mythological monsters, so that mythology is more understandable to our modern day life.
Mythology began with a creation. In the very beginning, there was nothing and everything was very disorderly. Suddenly out of nowhere Erebus appeared. This was an unknown place that only had death and night. Somehow one day Love was born and finally the world had order. Out of Love came Light and Day and finally Gaea, the earth arrived. Erebus slept with Night and then Ether, the heavenly light and also gave birth to Day the earthly light. The Night by itself made Doom, Death, Dreams, Sleep, Fate, and Nemesis.

Gaea by herself gave birth to Uranus. Uranus married Gaea and had 3 cyclopes, three Hecatoncheires, and twelve Titans.
The Titans are the oldest of all the gods in Olympus. The
Mother of all Titans was Gaea and the father was Uranus. Uranus
was the first ruler of Olympus and was eventually overthrown by his own Titan son, Cronus. The Titan included Thea, Iapetus, Oceanus, Themis, Cronus, Rhea, Uranus, Crius, Gaia, Thea, Hyperion, Metis, Epimetheus, Atlas, Coes, and Mnemosyne....
