Off-Campus Privileges…

I think that if Arapahoe business area were to remove off-campus then it would create several problems.   Several effects would need to be changed or take place; such as, the school hours would have to be extended and they would probably need to make three lunch hours.   The reason for extending school hours or making more lunches is that at there would be that one, there would be really long lunch lines and two there would be not enough room in the cafeteria because all the lunch tables would be full.
One of the reasons I think that having off-campus is a good thing is that it lets people pick more than everyday choices.   It lets the students clear their minds of school for a while and lets them just be with friends.   Students do not just hang out at the library doing homework anymore.   Most teenager students, during their off-hours like to go to Starbucks or whatever small café or shops are in the area to work on their homework and to just relax.
Another effect to consider and think about is that there are not just good things about having off-campus or a bad effect about removing off-campus is for safety reasons.   The adults that volunteer their time to stand at the crosswalks or monitor some of the shops.   All of the adults on duty have to be thinking about any situation that may occur.   This is something that the businesses have to think about to; weather they want to go that far or have to deal with something that could happen and be thinking about all the risks.   In addition to why off-campus can be a bad thing, not having it can be good.   Removing off-campus can help eliminate some safety hazards and keeping students in the school can help with monitoring what goes on in the school and having things under control.
