There are so many things in people's lives that could be considered
life-changing events. I am sure, too, that many people do not even realize these
events and their potential when they happen, and so looking back at my life and
attempting to find a life changing event is hard, since there are so many to
contemplate. Yet one sticks out more in my mind than any other.
As strange as it sounds I literally woke up one day and decided I
needed to change myself. But what would I do? And what exactly was it that
needed to change? I knew that I was doing all right in school that was easy
enough. But I just wasn't happy, I was depressed and didn't think there was a
point to living. I felt like there was an empty spot in my life that needed to be filled. I know that I was at a hard age, but I'd been feeling that way since I was about eleven and my feelings kept getting worse and worse, so I figured it was more than teen angst.
