Teaching Philosophy

I have chosen the path of teaching young children because I feel that teaching is necessary for the guidance of future generations. I feel that children are extremely important people, and the experiences they have when they are young can affect them for the rest of their lives. I hope to leave students with the skills to become caring, knowledgeable and responsible people. Most importantly, I look forward to the lessons students will teach me.
Young children have a natural curiosity to learn and I strive to provide them with opportunities that will support and further this natural curiosity. Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed working with young children because they are full of such joy and personality.
