Psychological Disorder (Panic Attack)

Everyone has experienced anxiety, or psychological tension. The tension could come from fear or even from waiting to hear something of importance. However, some people have anxiety that is not related to normal cases of the tension and therefore have a disorder.
In particular, a panic disorder is where a person has uncontrollable and reoccurring panic attacks. Panicking is generally linked with intense fear and oftentimes people who have these panic attacks feel as if they are being doomed and even dying. Most panic attacks only last for a few minutes. However, some cases of panic attacks have been known to last several hours.
The noticeable symptoms found while one is suffering a panic attack include sweating and shaking. Other symptoms are things such as chest pain, dizziness, losing control, and fear of dying or going crazy. Some people who suffer from panic attacks describe the feeling as having a heart attack.
People who suffer from panic attacks have trouble living a relatively normal life. Due to their disorder, they might have trouble doing everyday things that normal people do with no trouble at all. For instance, a persona with social anxiety who suffers from panic attacks would have trouble going to a public place such as a supermarket to get groceries. The reason that person would have trouble is because they might suffer a panic attack while shopping as a result of their fear and may start to sweat and show other signs of a panic attack. This would most likely make that person want to leave right then without finishing their shopping so that they can get out of the situation that they are in. As a result, that person would probably be afraid to go shopping again. Panic attacks can lead to other things such as depression. If someone who is not helped medically that suffers from panic attacks, then they could possible resort to doing drugs or even committing suicide. However, there are ways to treat panic attacks.
