Civil disobedience or passive resistance defines as assiduous non-violent recalcitrant act of the discontented populace or active refusal to obey certain laws or demands or commands of a government or occupying power or uprise to achieve certain causes, welfare or the pursue of objective because of the injustice towards the minority or in certain cases the nation as a whole due to reasons such as to gain independence or to make appeal in a public approach to the current in power about how the nation feels about his actions towards them without resorting to physical violence or in a calm compassion respectful disagreement manner. Civil disobedience was sorted by the people in numerous countries since ancient times and was done for various reasons each as stated in the definition due to its own cause or interest. However, authorities in power yet again in history have never fully accepted this act by the people whether directly or indirectly and thus may even and have even retaliate against this. Nevertheless, civil disobedience like any other step taken in the universe both have impact in either sides which will be explained further in this composition.

Civil resistance however if not conscientiously objective could cause many unwanted death and may lead to other disturbing events that may worsen country’s current situation. The first act against Ferdinand Marcos by large number of students who were unpleased for the following reasons such high tuition fees, rampant graft and corruption, human right violation, militarization and abuses of the military and many more most importantly Marcos’s administration to U.S. interests and policies ended up with six students getting killed and the communist using the demonstration to further impose its interest.
