Abortion
Imagine yourself or perhaps one if your children, sleeping in your bed. Beyond your range of vision, an intruder enters your house. Without warning, the intruder cuts your arms, legs, and finally your head off. You only die when your heart cannot beat any more. In this world, a crime like that would be punished severely, but yet for some reason it is not. What has been described is abortion. Abortion is the killing of an innocent human life, and is wrong.
All of the methods used for abortion are painful for the child. The most common method used is the tearing of the body parts, piece by piece, from the baby's body. It is a scientifically proven fact that there are nerves in the child's body, and that they do feel themselves being slowly pulled apart and smashed. Their nerves are close to the surface, so the pain is possibly even greater. Another method used often, but not as regularly, is to inject a salt solution, slowly dissolving the baby away. Or there is the well known and much debated partial birth abortion. This procedure takes place when a full term baby is partially down the birth canal, and their spinal cord is either cut, or a tube is placed through their neck, into their brain, and their brain is sucked out. It is important to remember that the child can feel all of this, and no thought is given to their physical pain. They are killed slowly and with immense torture. Many other methods are used less commonly and they are all just as painful on the child. To die a death without being able to experience life may be one of the worst punishments possible, and it is a punishment given to innocent victims.
