Margaret felt a strange gust of fresh wind, it was awkward, two minutes ago she was only sleeping in her bed and then, like an act of magic she was in a place she has never been. It wasn’t a nice place, she can barely breathe because of the dust, the town was destroyed just as if a tornado just pass through it, there was a unbearable sound like of people begging for help but she can’t see anyone. It took a few seconds for Margaret to realize that the destroyed town was her town in ruins.
“Oh!” cried Margaret desperately, and with a human instinct clap her hands to her head at the moment she watch her smashed house.
With a horrible scare she entered her parent’s house with faith to find her family. All her hopes went down at the moment she saw the body of sister all cover by the house walls that once protected her. With an awful scream, she run to her parents room but she only found emptiness and a feeling of sadness. Walking through the room, she saw something moving and an arm came under the lefts of the house. It was her mother, rapidly she went to help her but she couldn’t move. Her mother realized that she was dying and with her last breath she said to Margaret, I love you and fell into an endless sleep.
While running out of the house she got into her neighbor’s car, which was the one less affected, and ran out of that nightmare. She drove and drove but there wasn’t anyone alive. She stopped in a park where she used to visit as a child. All memories came to her mind, her mother, her father and her sister. Under a tree, crying, she closed her eyes and started to pray.
At that moment she woke up, almost breathless and sweating. It was all a nightmare, she said to herself with a strange laugh while she was in her bed. She went to open the windows and at the moment she saw her town in ruins.
