philosophy was " Know Yourself ". To reach this basic principle he mentioned
"virtue and moral" concepts and tried to understand the meaning of these two
concepts for him and his citizens. At that point he interrogated that " what
is the good life and how can we have this " so he draw two characters in
his mind whom we can imagine easily. One of them was a morally corrupt
man who has a reputation for being virtuous and thus reaps all the benefits of
being virtuous and the other one was a morally virtuous man who has a
reputation for being corrupt and thus suffers all the consequences of being
wicked. Socrates chose the second one and lived his life morally virtuous but
suffering. He did not complain in any time about the difficulties that he faced
because he was knowing these when he made his decision. Now its our term
and we have to choose one of the characters too
