To become an outstanding student in college is not easy. College success depends upon basic academic values and characteristics. Students who see dreams work hard every day to make their dreams come true. Usually, students who are wasting their parents' money, think that college is a fun place. On the other hand, students who want to become successful in college, they think college is a place where they can start looking ahead for their future. The college success factors that indicate how students will progress behavior and attitude, set goals, manage time, and having good friends.
Successful students can be distinguished from the average student by their attitudes and behaviors. Successful students are responsible and active; they become involved in their studies and accept responsibilities for their own education. Because active students listen carefully in class, they improve grades without increasing study time. To be successful in college, students should actively listen in the classroom, think positively, ask questions of their instructor, and take required notes. Sometimes the instructor gives important information that is not covered in the book. Usually successful students have a winning attitude; also, they have determination and self-discipline to become successful in college. Unlike unsuccessful students, successful students respect their teacher and try hard to make their dreams come true. Because they work hard and they know their desire, they become successful in college.
Secondly, successful students have legitimate goals and their goals are motivated by their career and life plans. Successful students try to make effective goals.
