Suffering Death And Ressurection
AO1: Explain what Christians today believe about the suffering death and resurrection of Jesus as told in Mark's gospel.
Christians today believe Jesus to be the Son of Man, Son of God, Saviour and Messiah. For him to suffer for us is a sign of God's love for us, this they also believe. The suffering of Jesus is part of the plan, as Jesus talks about throughout his mission. In mark's gospel, The Son of Man has a choice to either suffer and die or to stay alive.
