Water Pllution

There are two groups that also contribute to the water pollution issue.   These two groups are known as natural pollution and man made pollution.  

The United States industry is the greatest source of pollution.   The United States also accounts for more than half the volume of all water pollution. It also has the most deadly pollutants.   Some of the pollutants include grit, asbestos, phosphates, nitrates, mercury, lead, sulfur, sulfuric acid, oils and petrochemicals.   In addition, numerous manufacturing plants pour off undiluted corrosives, poisons, and other noxious byproducts.

The construction industry, towns and municipalities are three of the major sources of water pollution as well.   One of the reasoning for this is that much groundwater has been contaminated by wastes pumped underground for disposal.   This could also happen by seepage from surface water.  

Groundwater Pollution

Fresh water is limited.   It is, however, increasing day by day.   The ground water is also less affected by drought.   Ground water can not be polluted as easy as surface water.   This is because ground water is protected naturally.   Ground water pollution is a modification of physical, chemical and biological properties.   The pollutants that do occur are either produced naturally or are a cause of human activities or laziness.

Pollution Caused From Human Activities

There are three major activities produced by humans that contribute to the pollution in our waters.   These consist of municipal disposal, industrial disposal and agricultural pollutants.

Pollutants released from municipal are due to fewer services such as poor sewerage systems.   Industrial disposal is simple.   The pollutants from here are caused from the dumping of wastes in an unsecured area.   Agriculture pollutants are also simple.   These pollutants come from the chemicals used to help with the production of food growth.   All of these soak into the ground which leads to the water supplies.   Once it...
