Introduction
WWF is larger than "life". This is the best description for the most respected sports entertainment industry the world has ever face. Started, as no other than circus or cheap shows in Pubs and Clubs, Wrestling is becoming the most recognized show in the world. From Asia, Australia, Europe, America and Africa WWF (or WWE now) is the word among all the wrestling fans. The man behind this legacy is no other than Vince McMahon himself the architects of the industry. 1980's was the era of WWF where the ratings where tremendously high and money was pouring like rain for Vice. WWF was the place where "Hulkamaniacs", "MachoMan", "The Narcissist" and "The Big Boss Man" was born. These characters were everywhere from TV shows, merchandise products to vitamins and pray books. It was an icon of heroes and villains where the hero must win in the end. But something went bad in the 90's, wrestlers were looking for better option of life and money, WCW becomes the answer for the prayer. For decade WWF has monopoly the industry as part of Vince's empire strength. Ted Turner owner of Turner Network Entertainment a southern tycoon step into the game in the early 90's. Started as a cheap imitation image, turned into the worst nightmare for WWF in the late 90's by Eric Bischoff strategy an entertainment promoter. Vince's strategy by turning "Hitman" character into a villain cost him the Hitman himself, moving into WCW as part of a contract dispute. This report will show a brief explanation of how Vince's empire turned into one of the most recognized business in the world by using SWOT analysis and Porter's Five-Forces Model of Competition to see how these two gigantic industry competing at each other for the best spot in the ratings.
