I. INTRODUCTION
Stroke or Brain attack (or cerebrovascular accident) is the clinical diagnosis for a rapidly developing loss of brain function when the blood supply to a part of your brain is interrupted or severely reduced, depriving brain tissue of oxygen and nutrients. Within a few minutes, brain cells begin to die.There are two kinds of stroke. The more common kind, called ischemic stroke, is caused by a blood clot that blocks or plugs a blood vessel in the brain. The other kind, called hemorrhagic stroke, is caused by a blood vessel that breaks and bleeds into the brain. "Mini-strokes" or transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), occur when the blood supply to the brain is briefly interrupted.
A. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This study attempts to identify and confront the alarming increase of all forms of Cardio Vascular Accident cases in the country. Discernment and proper segregation of the different events of Hypertension related cardiovascular diseases for purposes of prevention and treatment has to be given a high level of importance. The governance has to take a decisive step in elevating and integrating this study into the educational system make this information a source of knowledge readily accessible to the populace thereby making it a strong base material for the promotion of wellness at the primary level.
